Little hunter quilt

Here’s the finished product!  When I saw these little foxes and quails, I knew I couldn’t leave them behind!  Some friends of ours are having a little boy soon, and his daddy likes to hunt.  So… what fabric could be better for this little hunter?  Isn’t it absolutely adorable?  I ended up ordering a little extra fabric just for me.  Not sure what I’ll use the rest for, but I’m so excited!

    • The squares were cut at 6 inches and ended up being about 5.5 inches when sewn together. I usually use a 1/4 inch seam allowance when I sew my squares together.

    • The polka dot fabric was something I’d had in my scrap pile for a while, and unfortunately, I can’t remember the name of it! If I happen to come across it, I’ll post it on here.

  2. I am wanting to make my grandsons a quilt like this. I have never quilted so I have a lot of questions. What is the size of this quilt? How many squares does it take to make this quilt?
