Remember the Tulip Tote from this post? Well, this cute little “green” grocery bag pattern is from the same book: Sew Serendipity Bags by Kay Whitt. Even though the bag looks pretty small from front, the sides of the bag are pleated so there’s actually a lot more room on the inside. The pattern has three different sizes: small, medium and large. The directions are easy to follow, and it didn’t take very long to finish. I will definitely be making the other two sizes in the future!
{I didn’t actually follow the directions completely because I left out the pocket on the front and the tab on the inside, which means I can’t fold the bag into itself to store it when it’s not in use.}
