I didn’t have time to get to the gym on Tuesday, and usually I would use that as an excuse not to exercise, but this time I fought the urge to keep on sitting in front of the computer and changed into my workout clothes.  I decided to try this fun exercise from one of my gym classes.

You get into the plank position with a towel (a thin drying towel or gym towel works best) under your feet.  Just holding this position is a workout in itself because you have to keep your feet from sliding out from under you.

While keeping your backside relatively level with the rest of your body, you pull your feet up to your chest and then back out into the plank position once again.  Repeat this for at least 1 minute as fast as you can.  Rest 30 seconds and then go again.
